Hi,
I purchased a compass sensor and am now trying to do useful stuff with it. When I try to download your program "face north" I just get strange machine code. Would you have some sample programs written in NXT-G?

Thanks

Where can I get some ideas for building projects for our children? We just need some ideas and possibly some instructions. We were told that for children 8-10 that there were instructions and ideas as to building projects, but have found there are none. The children have come up with some simple robot ideas they've built, and are now in a place where we need MORE ideas and guidance to continue. Please help! There must be some ideas or instructions somwhere out there.

I am trying to make a drawing robot. I want the robot to react to people singing voice and draw on a piece of paper with ink or charcoal. Any ideas?

Would this be an appropriate project for some fifth graders studying compass/orienteering? I am trying to integrate some robotics into the math program. Is Compass Bot a kit with documentation for novices or is it just Tim's creation?

Responding to Glenn, the only problem is that those parts do not come from the NXT 9797 base set. I have these parts, but they are from the LEGO Shop At Home #3804 Robotics Invention System 2.0. You can still purchase these parts on eBay, but they sell these parts as spare parts.

How well does the red ball work as a free spinning sudo-wheel. Could you post a few pics of the area so that I/we can try it.

Thanks,
Robby
